Wisconsin has made a significant investment in broadband expansion by including $48 million for state grants in its biennial budget. A strong state economy is closely linked to access to high-speed broadband for schools, businesses, farms, and homes. Access to broadband continues to be a top priority of elected officials, businesses, and citizens. Kristy Nieto of the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin will discuss what you need to know about Wisconsin’s broadband expansion efforts, and how communities can best prepare to participate in state programming.
