Kristy Nieto
Public Service Commission of Wisconsin: Division Administrator
Kristy Nieto is the Administrator of the Division of Digital Access, Consumer and Environmental Affairs, including the State Broadband Office, at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. Kristy has been with the Commission for 6 years and has overseen the State Broadband Office since January of 2018. Kristy has also held roles at the Commission as the Deputy Administrator for the Division of Business and Program Management, the Assistant Administrator for Telecommunications and Consumer Affairs, and Consumer Policy Analyst.
Prior to working for the Commission, Kristy managed a bilingual consumer protection outreach program for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. She has a BA in Spanish and Business Writing from Hamline University and an MA in Spanish Lit and Linguistics from UW – Madison.
